This event is among the oldest still celebrated in Europe, with its beginnings as an ancient shepherd's market from the year 1340. Nowadays, this small annual market has transformed into a wonderful fair that culminates with a spectacular fireworks display. As an homage to the original shepherd's market, the fair features a parade of decorated sheep which are herded through the streets.
