Australian International Motor Show

This event is the largest automobile show in Australia with over 250,000 visitors and spread over six exhibition halls of the Sydney Convention Centre. You'll be on hand for unveiling of new concept cars as well as re-releases of contemporary favorites. Bring your check book; the most exciting models offered by Bentley, Ferrari and Maserati are also sold at this event.

Around 400,000 visitors come to view over 100 different works in this twelfth edition of the event.

The city comes to life beginning with a free barbecue and continuing with outdoor screenings of movies at the Cultural Forecourt. Trees in the Arbour are adorned with Christmas-themed lights and serve as a beautiful background for nightly firework displays.

The Adelaide Fringe Festival is an annual arts festival, which takes place for three weeks all over the Australian city of Adelaide. A wide array of events takes place during these three weeks. This festival showcases local artists from Adelaide who use to opportunity to pull out all the stops. As well as performances, galleries and building décor, there are events put on by the festival organizers such as the Opening Night Party and Fringe Family Weekend, which gives the city a carnival atmosphere during the Fringe. Many of these events are free and open to the public, so all the starving artists themselves can attend!
