The SoNoRo international chamber music festival brings together contemporary, classical and jazz. Each year there is a theme for the festival that all featured musical pieces adhere to in some way. The festival has ties to the Transylvania International Film Festival in the form of sponsored theme-related film screenings. For 2012 SoNoRo takes place mainly in Bucharest, but will have satellite performance locations in Cluj, Brasov and Iasi.
